MN: €4-5m purchase and subsequent loan could help Milan in pursuit of Torino star

AC Milan are expected to define the permanent signing of Pietro Pellegri from Monaco today and it could have implications for future business, a report claims.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Pellegri’s permanent arrival from Monaco is close and then he is expected to be sent on loan for the rest of the season. The Rossoneri signed the striker on a season-long loan with an option to buy and though he has amassed just 127 minutes this season, he has the confidence and optimism of the Rossoneri management.

That is why they have brought forward his purchase, but now his task will be to find some consistent playing time and get back into a groove. Maldini and Massara decided to buy him immediately from Monaco for a sum between €4-5m and to subsequently loan him to Ivan Juric.

The market axis between Milan and Torino is a strong one after Tommaso Pobega was loaned there in the summer, and with agreements of various kinds, it cannot be excluded that the Rossoneri may gain some preferential lane in their pursuit of centre-back Gleison Bremer, who Inter want too.
