Motta admits he is ‘having a great time’ at Bologna amid links with Milan job

Thiago Motta is one of the most talked about names among head coaches in view of a summer when there could be a lot of movement, and he admitted he is very happy at Bologna.

As Calciomercato.com report, Motta is a manager that has drawn the admiration of a lot of different clubs thanks to the extraordinary season that his Bologna side are having, given they are in genuine contention of getting a Champions League spot.

Milan, Roma, Juventus and Napoli all want him, but also Barcelona and PSG among others abroad. There have been reports that Bologna will try very hard to keep him, but the fact his deal expires at the end of the season means they are in a race against time to convince him.

Speaking from the great hall of the Department of Sciences for the Quality of Life of the Alma Mater of Bologna, during an event organised in collaboration with the Italian Association of Football Coaches (AIAC), Motta talked about his relationship with various cities and nodded at Milano.

“I have experienced great teams and fantastic emotions, even stronger, but today as a coach, having a great responsibility, I feel very satisfied. As a player I experienced important cities, Madrid, Paris, Genoa, Barcelona, ​​Milan and I have always found it good,” he said.

“Here in Bologna I am having a great time. What we are experiencing together is something beautiful that we must take full advantage of, live in the present… you live once and it passes very quickly, and this is also why we are obtaining these results are thanks to everyone, from the players to the club to our warehouse workers.

“I contribute what I can, I give extra help. My boys convey emotions to me, I see my players who are doing very well and I am proud of what they are doing.”
