FC Girondins Bordeaux have announced on their website that Jeremy Menez has signed a contract with the club.
Menez has signed a three-year deal with Bordeaux, keeping him at the club until 30th of June, 2019. The Frenchman scored 16 goals in all competitions in the 2014/15 season, whilst the 2015/16 season was a disappointment for both the fans and the player himself. Here’s what Menez said about his move to the local media:
“I chose this club because of its project. This is the right place for me, it’s like a family. I have everything to be happy here. My goal is to get on the pitch with happiness and a strong will, and when I am happy, everything comes easy.”
