Official: Milan confirm Krunic has joined Fenerbahce on an initial loan deal

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have confirmed the departure of Rade Krunic, who landed in Turkey on Friday to complete his move to Fenerbahce. Contrary to previous reports, the midfielder has joined the club on an initial loan deal.

Krunic’s transfer has been in the works for a couple of months now, losing his spot in Milan’s team after the defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before Fenerbahce would reach an agreement with the Rossoneri management.

According to the statement on Milan’s official website, the Bosnian will join Fenerbahce on an initial loan deal. The move will be made permanent if certain conditions are met, although the details of these were not disclosed by the club.

“AC Milan can confirm that Rade Krunić has joined Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü on a loan deal, which will contain an obligation to make the deal permanent should certain conditions be met. The Club would like to wish Rade all the best for this coming adventure,” the statement read.

It is believed that Milan will get €3-5m for the sale of Krunic, which is far from great given their demands in the summer. On the other hand, the situation was unbearable and getting the midfielder off their hands was needed for the Rossoneri.

    1. No need, don’t you read? Pioli wants another defender. I think it’s because he wants to continue with his breakthrough 5-0-5 formation.

  1. These turks can only blackmail our clown menagement, meawhile they pay 10 mil for fred,15 for under,9 for becao and so on… He had 1,5 year contract with us until june 2025 ,i would clearly give him to his mind that he will sit on the stands for a year and a half and reject every offer under 7 mil. They wanted to show a balls rejecting 8 mil last summer and now like pussies accepting what ever they offer,if you wanna be the man be the man until the end ,3 milion….what the f. man ,u cant even buy a kevin konstant for that money anymore

  2. Ah, ain’t that wonderful. They were so eager to move him on that they accepted a loan deal. Now, what happens if those “certain conditions” are not met? He returns to Milan! lol
Such wonderful negotiators! Some people blamed the former managers for not negotiating certain deals properly. I can see the expert negotiating skills of furlani and co. I thought the media said we would re-invest the “money” received from the sale of Krunic. That was a farce!
I wish Krunic all the best; most of the dislike he faced was because the coach put him in the line of fire. He was the scapegoat.

    1. If they don’t get relegated and that team isn’t getting relegated. Jfc. What a whiner. He was a mediocre player. And never more than mediocre.

  3. LOAN????? LOL. Where are all the Maldini bashers???? If Maldini would have done a deal like this they would be screaming for his head on a spike. But no such hate for Fulani and co??? Why is that?? Another horrible deal that just adds to the rest of them.

Good luck Rade. Solid player for what he was (backup) that always gave his all and played in multiple positions. Fenner fleeced Georgie boy

    1. Loan with obligation to buy if they don’t get relegated (which is pretty much certain already). So no need to get all drama queen of the year here.

    2. Maldini couldn’t sell anyone at all. Not even players worth anything. Lost Donnarumma for free. Krunic added little if anything to this team. Good riddance.

  4. Another Scudetto winner gone.

Let’s see if any of the non-Scudetto winners can step up.

    Thank you for everything.
