Photos from today’s training as Milan resume work with Primavera side

AC Milan were back at the training ground earlier today and just like yesterday’s session, the Primavera players were also present. Due to the international absentees, this is a convenient solution for both managers.

Following the 3-1 win against Hellas Verona last weekend, Stefano Pioli gave the Milan players some days off and training resumed yesterday (Thursday). A lot of players are on international duty, both for the first team and the Primavera, and that’s why they have worked together instead.

This setup remained for today’s session as well, which ended with some 5v5 challenges as reported on the official website. As you can see in the images below, first-team players Samuel Chukwueze, Davide Calabria and Samuel Chukwueze were evidently part of the winning team.

Tomorrow, the players will gather for a training session in the morning and it’s possible that they could then have Sunday off. After all, the proper preparation for the game against Fiorentina will not begin until the start of next week.

In other good news, Rafael Leao was sent home early from the Portugal camp along with a few other stars of the team, with the manager Roberto Martinez keen on testing his reserves.
