From Hernandez to Krunic: the latest on the injured Milan players

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Cagliari and Lazio next week, which means Stefano Pioli will have to make the most of the players in his squad. However, there are a few injuries he must deal with.

Rade Krunic sustained a muscle injury in the win over Hellas Verona yesterday and he will certainly miss those two games. It’s a huge blow for Milan, who will examine the extent of the injury with tests tomorrow (Monday).

Mike Maignan could also miss the game against Cagliari, even if he’s much better already and could be available. Stefano Pioli would prefer not to risk him, though, given the key matches against Lazio and Borussia Dortmund.

Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria both missed the game against Verona due to fatigue and as was stated by Piolia after the game (via SempreMilan.it), they should be back for the game against the Sardinians.

Ismael Bennacer remains out, currently recovering from the knee surgery he underwent at the end of last season.
