MN: The two Napoli players at risk of Champions League suspension

By Euan Burns -

There are two Napoli players that are at risk of missing the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against AC Milan, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, South Korean centre-back Kim Min-Jae and Italian winger Matteo Politano will both miss the second leg at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona if they get booked in the first leg on Wednesday.

It would be a serious blow for Luciano Spalletti if he were to lose Kim given he has been a revelation in defence for Napoli this season since arriving from Fenerbahce.

As for Politano, he tends to be rotated on the right wing with Hirving Lozano but it is an option that the coach will certainly not want to lose, especially if Napoli find themselves chasing the tie.

Milan have the same situation with four players; Sandro Tonali, Rade Krunic, Fikayo Tomori and Fode Ballo-Toure. All are a card away from suspension.
