AC Milan will face Bologna in the season opener on Monday evening, hoping to start off with a win. The last time the Rossoneri faced the Rossoblu in the opener Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the hero with a brace.
The season started earlier today (Saturday) with the game between Napoli and Frosinone. Milan will have a few more days to prepare, though, as they will take on Bologna on Monday evening.
The last time these two teams met on the opening day, Ibrahimovic scored the only two goals of the game as Milan won 2-0 at San Siro. It was in the 2020/21 season and the Swede nearly grabbed a hat-trick as well (see highlights below).
