Francesco Camarda became the youngest Serie A debutant in history earlier this evening, coming off the bench for AC Milan against Fiorentina. As expected, the fans were over the moon as Stefano Pioli decided to sub him on.
Despite having a narrow 1-0 lead, and Fiorentina pushing heavily for an equaliser, Pioli decided to throw on Camarda in the 84th minute. At the age of 15 years and 260 days, the striker became the youngest Serie A debutant in Serie A history.
Since Fiorentina desperately tried to get the equaliser, Camarda wasn’t involved in that many actions, at least not in possession. In any case, it was a great moment for the youngster who wasn’t even expected to be called up just a few days ago.
As you can see in the various videos below, the reception was incredible for the striker, who couldn’t hide his emotions when he ran onto the pitch.

😁😁😁great debut buddy!!!!
A pity his debut is ruined by Krunic been in nearly every shot.
May Francesco become a legend at Milan!
You’re an idiot. If that’s what you saw maybe you’re looking out for Krunic more than the debutante
Good going, great hopes for him. Wishing him and AC a long and fruitful journey…all the best
I got goosebumps watching him enter with such roar from the fans. Man that must be ecstatic feeling. I’d shat my pants a little for sure but would sweat blood and tears for the badge.
Indeed at first he kinda had an expression of what the hell did I just step into and then he started to smile as it quikly settled in with him. I think he did well and worked hard and ran a lot which we deffently was in great need of at that point of time of the match.
It will be interesting to see how he further developes as a player in the coming years.
Bravo camarda and a great welcome from the supporters.
Movement is great. And he didn’t seem out of place …..at freaking 15 wow
Absolutely his movement is one of his great traits and i do hope we will see him again at home next weekend against frosinone due to our injury worries. He should be slowly integrated though and people should show great patience if he doesn’t score for us as long he works his socks off for us when fielded that will be more than enough for the time being,
Hopefully he will become what we all hope for and that a marriage between him and the club for the next decades will make both parts blossom,
I’m with you bro. I’m just happy he was able to get his feet wet a little bit. That experience alone is incredibly huge at his age. Just need to keep grounded and take these little chances in stride, learn and grow from them.
