Dusan Vlahovic’s entourage have laid out their demands to AC Milan if a summer transfer is to materialise.
It looks like Milan will get their new number nine very soon as Victor Boniface is expected to arrive in Italy on Friday to undergo a medical before signing his contract. It will be an initial loan for €5m with a €24m option to by, as per multiple reports.

Many thought that would be enough to complete the attack, and yet there is still talk of another forward arriving. Tuttosport this morning for example stated that the pursuit of Vlahovic is ‘not over yet’ and that Santiago Gimenez’s sale could facilitate a late push.
Dusan’s demands
Speaking on his social media channels (via MilanNews), Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni had his say on the Vlahovic saga and he outlined what the Serbian would have to receive in order to join the Rossoneri.

“The demands made a few days ago by Vlahovic’s entourage (his father is very active) to Milan are those of someone who intends to free himself from his current club for free or who already feels somewhat ‘free’.
“Six million net per season but above all 15 [million] upon signing. With a four or five-year contract in mind, it would be a 100 million operation, including the player’s transfer fee.”

signing bonus of 15M is insane…
How about no. He is basically pushing for his 12M crazy salary, but to match our salary cap, he wants the difference in a form of a signing bonus.
It is simple math. If he signs a 5 year contract it is like 9M net. Not 12. In any case if he will take this deal he is coming next summer 100%. It is still cheaper than signing Boniface?
Well, simple math with few variables. First, it’s a wishful thinking he will remain for 5 years and even if he does, it will mean he will then leave for free or want to renew with similar signing bonus demands.
What if he leaves in two years, then his cost would be the 12M net (20 gross) + 15M singing bonus. We will need to sell him for 40M+ to break even.
Also, getting 2.5 years worth of salaries upon signing the contract is ridiculous. And lastly, 15M today is worth way way more than 3-4M per year in the next few years.
He knows his price, he is looking after his interest – fair enough. I doubt Milan will and I support the club to not spend that cash on him though.
Yes, great but it doesn’t include the fact you can’t sign anyone for 0 and most players of his stature cost at least 30M in fees. It is still simple math, cheaper than any alternative Milan has, including Boniface. Also you sign players to play, not break even baby Furlani.
Sure, I knew this was coming, the moment I hit reply. Fair point, you don’t need to break it even but you still need to invest reasonably. Let’s dive in your scenario though. He will be ‘Origi’-ed for a full year in Juve and only cash in during that time? In that case his requirements would be even more outrageous next year. Let’s see what happens – you may be right. He might even join this year and in that case I will root for him and wish him scoring 30+ goals a season under his best buddy Allegri. I just express my opinion that he is not worth what he thinks he is worth, and I think both Juve and Dusan are on the losers side right now.
Of course. But even the article states “ The demands made a few days ago by Vlahovic’s entourage (his father is very active) to Milan are those of someone who intends to free himself from his current club for free or who already feels somewhat ‘free’.”
Seems like he is staying there for this season, unless Juventus release him to join Milan somehow.
Let him go to one of the plethora of other clubs that is interested in him….
So… He’ll end up in Saudi League to retire then. 🙂
Getting more and more positive that is the plan for next summer. 15M instead of 24M, unless Boniface does really good.
He’s not worth half of what he’s asking. He also stopped scoring under Allegri’s negative play and continued this with other managers since and now you want Milan to reunite him with Allegri. Hopefully this doesn’t happen but then I’m hoping Allegri breaks a habit of a life time and stop playing boring, negative uninspiring football.
I am hoping Milan honours the wishes of the manager they chose to lead Milan. Is that so hard to comprehend? Don’t care about any player that I want him to join Milan.
No thanks, he scored 10 goals (4 PK’s) last season. Who does he think he is? Plus, he complained about running.
Why defack to pay him signing bonus if we still need to pay Juve?
Well if he’s turning to be this greedy asole, let him rot on the bench and then leave to Turkey next year
He is a mediocre player at best, most likely past his prime already.
He is worth a quarter of that, at best.
He can get net less than 5 million per year, plus bonuses.
And Milan can pay to his entourage because they paid for Leao Sporting case.
But is it worth it and would they do ?
Another story.
If this report has any truth in it Milan should run, not walk to sign him even if we need to sell Gimenez.
But he isn’t that good the fact that Juve are trying to rid of him at all costs should tell you this
Juventus offered him a new extension in June? To get rid of him? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Some people here really like to make up the most stupid sh*t on the planet.
But thank f*ck we have an oracle like you here……
Juventus offered a extension for less that he is earning…
Greedy McGreedovic. Know your worth. This ain’t it. Your current club doesn’t want you because your not good enough. Show your worth this last season. Then maybe someone wants you. Now you just expensive dinner from last night basically.
15m bonus! No thanks. When a player who hasnt done well at a big club makes such demands, we shouldn’t entertain such ideas. If they drop sign on bonus the rest of it sounds ok.
Im so sad for Camarda he isn’t even considered when they are planning the attack. Sadly the boy should leave us if he wants to get a future, this club is a joke. Vlahovic isnt even a top player, have emhe delivered last years after his one season wonder with fiorentina? Have he been top goal scorer in serie a to get this salary? I think the Boniface business is much smarter as its a loan with option to buy it will fill the gap we have now for this year if someone gets injured. Idiots should have kept Okafor he was cheap for us to keep as a sub. But we should play with this team now until atleast the January window now maybe sign a defender but if we do sign someone who is a little older atleast over 25 and is established. But Camarda should leave if he wants to be something this club will never give him the chance we just want to buy fairy tales and sell them in s few years to make profit this is Milan today we are just a farmer club for the premier league. We are the sporting of italy the club brugge of italy. We will never win Champions league or even go to final with this management sadly. If jashari, ricci or anyone else does anything good this season and gets interest we will sell them everyone in this team is for sale even Leao.
Camarda’s loan IMO is a smart solution for the moment – he managed to bulk his physique in the last year, but still has to develop to be ready for the first team – he is 17yo. He might need even more than a year, as he is a striker (and Serie A experienced defenders are multiple levels tougher than the people his age). That is fine – our expectations are huge and we are all rooting for him, but he will probably have 20+ years ahead of him. Let him play more often with less pressure in Lecce and see how the season goes. If Jashari, Ricci receive offers from the likes of Liverpool, City, Barca, Real, they will accept on the spot (like Tiji did). It’s part of the game.
Milan walked away from Zirkzee please walk away from this guy, I think he needs another season in the doldrums before he realises he actually isn’t a top striker just a good one
Having 6m salary with signing bonus sounds good as important thing isn’t money here, main concern is to not spoiling the atmosphere in the team with higher salary to the new joiner. Since we have Boniface ready, we can still wait till end to push Juve’s hand to release him free.
Wait 6*4 +15 = 39. Offer Juve like 15 to save them the 12 this year and it’s like 54 total. Where are they getting 100?
Boniface is like 6*4 salary over the same time frame + 30 transfer. Also 54.
Also, it should be fairly easy to talk him down to something like 6 base plus 6 signing bonus.
Bro, wages for a player are calculated as net, and for the club as gross. If Vlahovic says he wants 6M net, Milan has to pay him about 12M gross (because taxes will take 50%). So it’s 4 years x 12M for a total of 48M Milan has to spend in wages, plus 15M signing bonus, for a total of 63M.
In the above article the author is assuming a transfer right now at a value of 25M (transfer fee) and a 5 year contract. “Six million net per season but above all 15 [million] upon signing. With a four or five-year contract in mind, it would be a 100 million operation, including the player’s transfer fee.” So Milan’s expenditure is, 5 years x 12M (gross) salary, plus 15M signing bonus, plus 25M to Juventus = 100M.
Reply to Matt.
6m year is net, that salary costs the club 12m in real life
And as for my opinion, I think 6M net salary is OK, but the 15M signing bonus and the 25M to Juventus is a no way. He can get a signing bonus equivalent to one year’s net salary and Juventus should receive no more than it would take to prevent them from making a loss on the books after amortization, which if I’m not mistaken stands at around 16M.
This is not right for Milan… Don’t start what you can’t finish.
Vlahovic should go to Saudi Arabia since he wants 12m net salary each season.
On the long run, this would affect Milan and the dressing room negatively.
I don’t want to jear next year that we’re selling good talents to balance the books.
Tonali and Tijani left already. Don’t start an operation you can’t finish if your books and account are not loaded, please.
