90min: From Hudson-Odoi to Koulibaly – the five Chelsea players Milan like

By Oliver Fisher -

Chelsea are expected to try and use AC Milan’s interest in several of their players to try and secure the signing of Rafael Leao, a report claims.

According to 90min, Milan are particularly keen on signing midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek who is in the final 18 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and would be allowed to leave by Chelsea given their desire to trim the squad down.

Lazio and Napoli are known admirers of the 27-year-old, but Milan are ’emerging as serious contenders’ to sign Loftus-Cheek, and the player has even asked Fikayo Tomori about life at the club with the defender giving rave reviews.

As a result Loftus-Cheek is keen on the idea of moving to Milan and could prioritise a move to Italy over joining Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leicester, Newcastle, West Ham or Wolves, who are all keen.

Moreover, the report adds that Kalidou Koulibaly, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi are ‘all on Milan’s radar’ as well, but the interest in these players is not currently linked to Chelsea’s pursuit of Leao.

Chelsea’s interest in Leao will remain even if he renews his deal and thus they could potentially offer up an exchange deal of sorts, but Milan want to keep the winger and have not shown any opening to a sale yet.

  1. Man, can’t believe K2 would be on his way out at Chelsea already. Kind of sad for him not to experience the scudetto at Napoli. I don’t think we need him, and we definitely can’t afford his salary.

  2. Chelsea are not on a strong position. Everyone knows they need to sell. If these guys are willing to lower their salaries, they might be a bargain. I doubt they would want to.

  3. If ACM fail to buy brahim from Real , better buy ziyech with cut price due to FFP not sacrifice leao to chelsea. The others player not fit in pioli tactic
