There is a lot of confusion surrounding AC Milan at present, yet the summer must be treated as an opportunity too.
The transfer window in Italy opens on June 29 and it is a big chance to help teams who need to fix their budgets by June 30. Why? Clubs can set up negotiations and have them go through before the end of the financial year. While waiting for that, check out Pennsylvania online casino bonuses.

Milan thus have an incredibly good opportunity to cover those millions of potential red money that have threatened the club’s profitable (or very close to it) finances in recent years.
The knock-on effect of failing to qualify for the Champions League will also weigh heavily on future accounts, especially next season, which will see the club still out of Europe’s top competition but at least in the running for the Europa League, which still brings in some revenue.
Player trading becomes the key source for trying to address this problem, and the fact that the official transfer window can open a few hours earlier than usual also provides the Rossoneri with an unusual opportunity.
It allows them to sell one of their top players in the very first hours of the session and ‘shift’ the funds to the current budget, without any gimmicks or manipulations. It doesn’t matter if the payments are made later: that’s only relevant for other situations.
Last year, the Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City deal saved Milan’s finances in early May, with the special 10-day transfer window in June before the Club World Cup almost leading to Mike Maignan’s departure as well.
This time, the scenario is slightly different, but it still allows them to appoint a sporting director, have him negotiate one of the outgoing operations and immediately put another bandaid on the economic wound after a disappointing season.
Who could it be that leaves? The most obvious candidate is Rafael Leao, valued at €60m and having already declared a desire to move on. Other candidates to raise generous cash sums include Maignan again, plus Strahinja Pavlovic, Youssouf Fofana and perhaps even Adrien Rabiot.
So, this small window becomes a sensational assist for Milan to close the budget with a positive sign, or at least with a significantly reduced negative sign. This is all in aid of future ability to spend money though, for which a top four spot in 2026-27 becomes a necessity.
