AC Milan managed to beat Lazio thanks to a fantastic performance on Sunday evening.
1. Calabriaâs best AC Milan performance
Yesterday was arguably the best match Iâve ever seen from Calabria and rightfully so, he was voted as the Man of the Match.Â

Against Lazio, he not only got a great assist, but also put out what could be his best defensive display in an AC Milan shirt. The GIF above shows one of his nine successful tackles, more than any other AC Milan player. The youngster also registered the most clearances (7) and interceptions (4) of the Rossoneri players.Â

2. Is Bonaventura back for good?
Many of us posed the question back in November when Gattuso took over AC Milan. Bonaventura was then involved in all of the first four league goals scored under Gattusoâs reign, netting three of them and assisting one. However, since then, heâs been a bit cold. Fortunately, yesterday, he really showed what he can do.Â

Along with Hakan Calhanaglu, he formed a deadly duo on the left flank. Bonaventura won the free-kick which Calhanoglu took full advantage of, with a little help from Cutroneâs shoulder. The Italian midfielder also scored Milanâs second goal, which you can see in the second GIF about Calabria.Â
3. Calhanoglu finding his feet under GattusoÂ
Much like Bonaventura, Hakan Calhanoglu has really stepped up since Gattuso took over. Not only can we see his offensive skills, but he also works his ass off to help out the defenders.Â

In the GIF above, you can see his wonderful free-kick which was converted by Cutrone in the end, albeit with an arm. Nevertheless, a great goal. As said, Hakan also showed that heâs more than willing to help out, even if it means draining yourself in the 95th minute.Â

We also got to see a nice elastico move from the Turk, as well as several pinpoint long-range passes. Â
