AC Milan confirm the plan for the return of the squad to training ahead of 2020-21 season

The programme for AC Milan’s return to training ahead of the 2020-21 season has been officially confirmed by the club’s website.

As per the article, Monday August 24 will see the squad return for Coronavirus tests and training will begin the next day on Tuesday August 25 but will not be visible to the fans due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

Nonetheless, the club add that fans will be able to ‘follow the activities’ of the first few days of work on the Rossoneri social platforms, Milan TV and the official Club App.

The official Milan App and ‘Milan TV’ will document the first training session, which will be followed by a ‘live’ meeting with the CEO Ivan Gazidis, technical director Paolo Maldini and the sporting director Frederic Massara.

On Wednesday August 25 Milan will air a long live broadcast on Milan TV and on the official App, including an interview with President Paolo Scaroni, ‘live’ views from the training ground plus comments from captain Alessio Romagnoli and his other team-mates.

It also mentions that the first match of the 20-21 season will be broadcast, which we can infer is an intra-squad friendly.

At the weekend, head coach Stefano Pioli will speak on Milan TV and the App about the players’ form, the preparation path and the goals for the new season.
