CM: Milan offered PSG outcast through agents as Maldini and Massara reflect

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are set for an important week on the market as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s renewal should hopefully be followed by the signing of Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge, while there could be news on the long-awaited reinforcement in midfield.

In the last hours several agents have contacted Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini to propose new opportunities for the midfield and Wijnaldum – who is not part of the plans at PSG – was offered to both Roma and Milan.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have not closed the door and will make more in-depth assessments in the coming days, but the main obstacle would be the €9m net per season salary and in this sense a contribution of almost 50% from PSG would be needed, plus a loan with option formula.

  1. Wijnaldum would be a great addition but regardless of the speculation of psg paying half of his salary with us i simply cant see him joining us UNLESS psg and the player agrees to rescind his contract and in such scenario i would absolutely love to see him arriving but thats an unlikely scenario to happen.

  2. He waiting till free transfer from liverpool for higher salary 9m euro nett in psg ,there is no way he want to reduce it to 5m euro nett unless psg agree to pay half his salary on loan option
