AC Milan and PUMA have officially unveiled the home shirt for the upcoming 2025-26 season, and there are some interesting features.
In their official press release, Milan speak of a ‘design that wants to pay tribute to one of the historic symbols of the club’ and more specifically the words of the founder Herbert Kilpin in 1899.
He stated that he wanted a ‘team of devils’, adding: “Our colors will be red like flames and black to invoke fear in our opponents.” The symbol of the devil has since become a distinctive feature of the club, recognised by supporters around the world.

The customary red and black stripes are adorned with flames and a ‘fiery red crest’, providing a ‘modern interpretation of the club’s historic roots’. In addition, there is a monochromatic crest which has never been used on a home shirt before, only on some away and third jerseys.
As usual, the shirts will come in Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic Jersey, worn by the players, is crafted with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which reduces weight and friction for elite-level performance.
The Replica Jersey offers the same striking look with a more relaxed fit, perfect for both match days and everyday wear. Both versions incorporate PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep fans and players dry and comfortable.
As part of PUMA’s commitment to sustainability, the Replica jerseys are made using the RE:FIBRE initiative, utilising recycled textile waste to create new materials without compromising quality.
Containing at least 95% recycled textile waste and other used polyester materials, this initiative represents a significant step towards a more circular and sustainable production process for football shirts.
The new kit will be seen for the first time on the field on Saturday 24 May when AC Milan take on Monza in their final Serie A fixture of the season.
Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan: “The new Home kit reflects the Club’s heritage through a design that builds on our traditions while introducing subtle elements of innovation.
“It draws inspiration from the legacy of our colours and symbols, continuing the stylistic direction developed with PUMA over the past few seasons. The result is a kit that combines tradition and innovation in a coherent way, while remaining true to our roots.”
Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel: “This season’s design takes inspiration from the past but has the modern fan very much at the front of mind.
“We’re very excited to be unveiling a kit that is so synonymous with the original vision and core principles of AC Milan, one that has since resonated with millions across the globe. This kit is sure to remind everyone of the fear this team can distill in the opposition and ensure the Rossoneri bring the heat from the sidelines.”
Too bad we won’t be seeing this kit in any European competition
Hey what’s all that dried up white splooge all over the jersey?? Can’t believe somebody actually thought this was a nice design. Fire immediately.
I was already liking it but wtf is that logo, why ruin it 🥲
What kind of satanic ritual is this????
“Our colors will be red like flames and black to invoke fear in our opponents.”
Well… That might probably be the only thing invoking fear in the opponents these days. Instead of the laughter and ridicule our management and “team play” invokes.
No Theo in the picture is another sign they don’t even think about him being a Milan player next year.
I’m more concerned that I didn’t see Rjeinders.
Very concerned.
At the moment I think it’s about 50:50 we keep him but that’s probably me being totally unrealistic.
He’s got apparently offers from S-tier clubs in Europe and you never know if those offers will ever come again. I wouldn’t fault him for accepting or the club for selling him at a reasonable price.
No you can’t blame him for accepting the rumoured offers.
Here is a star player approaching the peak of his career. He’s just had his best season. Probably the best goals/assits numbers for a midfielder in Europe.
We signed him a couple of months ago to a new long contract.
And he is not in the new kit promo?
They put 35 year old on a 6 month loan in instead.
Rjeinders is definitely being sold.
😪
Also points to them keeping Walker which is kinda surprising to me but maybe he’s a really good asset off the pitch.
Nevеr know
Tell ’em all it’s time to pay up
Keep it 100 and we never gave up, (ay)
It’s time we stayin’ prayed
I like the kit.
Nice to see one that is more black than red again to mix it up.
Would prefer a normal crest but don’t see it as a big issue
I do wish they would hold the kit back until preseason after such a horrible season.
The great thing is that now on every post on Milan’s Instagram account, it’s filled with that Maldini sticker LOL.
Really boring design. Look at Gimenez. No nose band aid and with leather pants on I wish he would play in leather pants 😅
