By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have given fans the first real hint of what the 2024-25 away shirt will look like and have also confirmed the date that it will be released.

In a video shared by the club on X, there are strong hints at the club’s past with an old leather football being seen, as well as a dark wooden cricket bat.

The fast-paced video contains a lot of woody-sandy tones, and a very brief glance at the collar of the shirt shows that it could be an off-white colour, which will please a lot of fans.

The short video ends with confirmation that the shirt will be released to the public on July 28, meaning there is not long to wait.

Milan fans around the world have been very willing to put their hands in their pockets and pay for new shirts in recent seasons, becoming the second-best shirt sellers in Italy and sitting 13th in Europe according to UEFA’s data.

Milan are in 13th with €47m in 2023, while Juventus are the top Serie A club at €74m. There are then five clubs who are at over €100m: Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The Rossoneri will hope to reel Juventus in over the coming years with their focus on commercial success.
