Tuttosport: Milan to use Vicenza friendly to complete €2-3m deal for striker

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be an interesting sub-plot to AC Milan’s friendly against Vicenza today as Tommaso Mancini could soon switch from one club to the other.

According to Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), Milan should use today’s game against Vicenza to complete the purchase of a talent strongly desired by the management in Tommaso Mancini. The paper claims that the friendly match between the Venetians and Milan will also give the two managements the opportunity to meet and resolve the final details.

It will be an operation worth about €2-3m, and Milan moved ahead of the competition, beating several top clubs – including Juventus – in the process. It should therefore be a matter of hours before the Rossoneri complete the signing of the teenager.

Initially he will be part of the Primavera squad under Ignazio Abate but given that he is already a first teamer with Vicenza, his talent could see him rise up to the senior squad quickly.
