AC Milan vs. Hellas Verona: Official line-ups – Calabria back in; Kessie-Calhanoglu midfield

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been forced into a number of changes from the win over Brescia over a week ago.

Pioli confirmed during his pre-match press conference on Saturday that he has a number of selection issues to overcome, with Rade Krunic having suffered a knock plus Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer overcoming flu.

As a result, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic are up front while Hakan Calhanoglu and Franck Kessie are the midfield pairing.

There is also a change in the back four, with Davide Calabria coming back in at right-back in place of Andrea Conti, who seemed to have his starting spot nailed down. It is being reported that the latter has tonsillitis.

Samu Castillejo retains his place on the right of the midfield, while Giacomo Bonaventura will start on the left just as he did against Torino in midweek.

Official Milan XI vs. Verona: Donnarumma, Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Castillejo, Kessié, Calhanoglu, Bonaventura; Leao, Rebic
