AC Milan Women recorded yet another win over their city rivals Inter, winning 4-1 to advance to the next round of the Coppa Italia Femminile.
The match represented the third official derby in history, and the Rossonere qualified for the quarter-finals of the Italian Women’s Cup, and won thanks to goals from Longo, Hovland, Andrade and Conc.
A year ago Inter and Milan faced each other for the first time in their history in the last eight of the Cup, with a 5-3 triumph for the Rossonere. Added to the 3-1 league derby win earlier this season, it means Milan have won three out of three against their neighbours.
