According to a recent report, it would require a sizeable bid in order for AC Milan to lure Ismael Saibari away from PSV Eindhoven.
Saibari, 24, has been attracting attention for quite some time now – especially after a season in which he had 22 goal contributions in 29 league games for his club. It was reported a matter of days ago that the Moroccan international could be on the radar of the Rossoneri, but the strength of the rumour wasn’t quite clear.

Now, there’s a bit more clarity on the situation. A post from PSV Inside via an original report from Eindhovens Dagblad suggests that if Saibari was going to depart the Dutch champions in the summer, it would take a “huge” bid – especially as they begin to prepare for a Champions League campaign.
Another potential playmaker that Milan could be in the market for is Alejandro Garnacho, but current odds have him as far out as 16.00 to head to the San Siro. Still, with a lot of their star names being linked with moves away, they need to add some flair and excitement – which is precisely what Saibari could provide.
Milan pursue new winger
Milan are expected to make some major changes to the squad ahead of next season, given the arrival of Igli Tare as the new sporting director and with Massimiliano Allegri as the head coach.
The Rossoneri could think about sales to raise money, and Samuel Chukwueze is among the names considered. The Nigerian winger was close to Fulham in the winter mercato and could become a hot topic again in the next few weeks.
Selling an attacking winger who naturally plays on the right side could free up the space in the squad and the funds to go after someone like Saibari, but it would also raise question marks about Alexis Saelemaekers. He too plays on the right, and he seems to want to stay after returning.
“Now I’m here to stay. I’m happy to be back, I missed it. Now we’re going to do something big this year. It was an experience for me to go on loan to other clubs, this one also made me grow,” he told Milan TV.
“I have this feeling of taking something back here and I hope to do it with the whole team. It’s always nice to see all the people here at Milanello, it’s like a family. I’m happy about this too.”
