The agent of Bordeaux midfielder Jean Onana has revealed that the deal with AC Milan is not done, but did admit the idea of a move to Italy is tempting.
Igor Campedelli – the agent of Onana – was interviewed by the Twitch channel of Calciomercato.it and spoke about the future of his client, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“Jean is destined for the top. With Milan it’s not done, everything can happen. The Italian league fascinates him, he knows everything. He and Adli are friends, they often speak to each other. Is there optimism? The clubs must find an agreement, in the meantime we wait.”
The latest from L’Equipe states that Onana has already given his approval to the idea of joining Milan and everything could be fixed very quickly regarding his future destination. Someone close to the negotiations apparently told them that an agreement is ‘not far away’.
Bordeaux are believed to be asking for a fixed €6m fee plus €1m in bonuses and then a percentage of the proceeds from a potential future resale on top.

He seems like a last minute panic buy. Pioli won’t play this guy at least until January or when injuries hit us hard. Waste of money. Replacing Kessie should be first priority this summer. It’s just late now.
