AC Milan target Kristoffer Ajer has changed agents, it has been confirmed, amid speculation he is trying to force a summer move.
It first emerged over the weekend that Ajer had split from agent Tore Pedersen, who he has been represented by since he was 15 years old.
It comes after reports last week stated that Milan are closely following the Norway international and though there have been no negotiations with Celtic, there have been talks with Ajer’s entourage.
The Rossoneri are believed to have competition from Leicester City to land the 22-year-old as they look for a new long-term partner for Alessio Romagnoli.
Now, Norwegian outlet Nettavisen have confirmed that they reached out to Pedersen who confirmed he split with Ajer in May, and that in order to answer why the centre-back has not renewed with Celtic they must ask the player.
Ajer is now apparently represented by Dutch company Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), responsible for clients such as Memphis Depay and Kasper Dolberg.
