The agent of Real Madrid playmaker Oscar Rodriguez did not rule out the possibility of a move to AC Milan when questioned about the rumours surrounding his client.
Marca are reporting that the Rossoneri are on the attacking midfielder, who has nine goals and two assists in 29 LaLiga games for Leganes, where he is on loan until the summer.
The claim that Milan have contacted the player’s agent to find out in detail the intentions of the player and of his parent club Real Madrid.
Los Blancos want to make cash and intend to ask for €20m to sell outright, with the possible inclusion of a buy-back clause as the Real management know that they have an important player on their hands.
Calciomercato.com contacted his agent Rene Ramos – the brother of Real Madrid defender Sergio – to get to the bottom of the rumours.
“I also read this news published in the newspapers, but there is nothing official going,” he began.
“He is very happy at Leganés and wants to end his adventure in the best way, trying to achieve the goals set by the club. Then the future is in the hands of Real Madrid, Oscar has a contract with them. If any club wants to buy my client, he will first have to find an agreement with Madrid.”
Villarreal, Sevilla and Valencia are also rumoured to be in the race, and Ramos did not deny their interest.
“Yes, there are many Spanish clubs in for him. But for professional secrecy I don’t like to mention the names of the teams involved.”
Could Milan be a welcome destination?
“Why not? Milan are always a great club with a great tradition.”
