Agent of Racing star ‘happy to talk’ more with Milan and Inter after having ‘already spoken’

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed that he would be more than open to fielding calls from AC Milan and Inter, having already spoken to them.

Alcaraz joined the youth academy of Racing Club in 2017 and made his professional debut in 2020 as a 17-year-old, showing just how much they believed in him. He made 42 appearances for the Avellaneda club this season across all competitions with nine goals and two assists in that stretch playing primarily as a box to box player.

He was in the headlines recently as he scored the winning goal of the 2022 Argentine Cup Final against Boca Juniors earlier this month in the second half of extra-time sparking a huge brawl, in which he was one of 10 red cards.

The agent of Alcaraz – Sebastian Lopez – spoke about the future of the teenage midfielder and in particular commented on the links with a potential move to Italy during an interview with FcInterNews.

“I have already spoken with both Inter and with Milan last summer,” he said.

How much could Racing want for the player’s card?

“Several offers came in the last market, but none of them were accepted. The valuation is 15 million euros, which maybe could be discounted to 12. Or a little less, but with a percentage on future resale.”

Are you already planning a trip to Milan to see how the question evolves?
