The agent of Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo has responded to the idea that AC Milan might be interested in signing his client this summer.
There has been an increasing amount of speculation over the past couple of weeks that the Milan management could well turn to Zaniolo in a bid to bolster the attack ahead of a crucial 2022-23 season, hoping to strengthen the trident behind the centre-forward in particular.
It was even reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday that the Rossoneri made an offer of €25m plus Alexis Saelemaekers for Zaniolo but Roma do not want to part ways with the winger and the inclusion of the Belgian is not enough to change their minds.
Zaniolo’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, spoke to Sportitalia and was asked about the potential that the Rossoneri could launch a move for his client during the summer transfer window.
“It would be great news, but I don’t know anything about it,” he said (via MilanNews).
