Tuttosport: Agents working to help Milan sign Pioli’s number one right wing target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has chosen the man he wants to come in and reinforce the right wing and agents are at work, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Milan management know that investments are needed to freshen up an attack that has struggled in the last six games, scoring just four goals.

The biggest doubt is regarding the right wing role where Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias are really struggling for form and Samu Castillejo has seemingly been banished, so it is logical to deduce that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are hunting to address the issue.

Pioli’s favourite profile for the position is Domenico Berardi and  the player’s agents have been at work in the last few weeks in an attempt to lower the requests of Sassuolo’s CEO Carnevali. This is the only big obstacle, since there would be no problems related to salary.

  1. The very fact that Samu has been banished like he has is preposterous. Why not give him the chance when the other two have not delivered at all (at least) the last 10 games?

  2. I don’t remember Samu playing as bad as Junior…
I don’t even understand this whole issue of looking for players who can cut in form the right and score, we have Giroud who can attack in the air and we are underutilizing him. Leo cannot give 5 decent crosses in a match and it’s painful to always watch. Feed the bloody striker pls
