Aksam: Milan in pole position to land Fenerbahce star – €25m deal possible

By Oliver Fisher -

Sebastian Szymanski is attracting interest from a number of clubs as he continues to impress for Fenerbahce, and a report has claimed that AC Milan are one of them.

According to what is being reported by Aksam in Turkey, there has been another ‘hot development’ regarding Szymanski, who has attracted the interest of many clubs and is ‘about to leave’ Fenerbahce for a ‘club record fee’,

Szymanski drew attention with his performances for Feyenoord in the Eredevisie last season and he went to Fenerbahce for €9.75m but now he is ‘preparing to sign for the Serie A giant’ Milan, who were linked last month too.

The source claims that the 24-year-old midfielder is ‘very close’ to joining Milan, who have offered €18m to sign him even though there is a demand of €28m from the Istanbul club to let him leave.

The Rossoneri will increase the offer to Fenerbahçe and it is believed that a meeting point could be found around €25m, for a player with 12 goals and 14 assists in 45 games so far this season.

It is known that another Serie A team, Napoli, and Premier League side Tottenham are also closely monitoring Szymanski’s situation. Both clubs are preparing to knock on Fenerbahçe’s door if Milan cannot seal the deal.

    1. So we already have a pure 1 LW and you want to sell him and replace him with 1 more RW when we already got two of them?

      1. I think Szymanski is more of an AM who can play as RW.

Also Pulisic favorite position is LW… that said I see this purchase having any merit only if we sell Leao.

  1. Some random kid with half a season of good football in Turkey?

Better off getting Colpani or Lazar. I don’t see Milan investing heavily into midfield, even tho we do need a dm. This kid isn’t a dm, heh

  2. “Who ?”
“Exactly, he sounds [like one of us] already.”

I’m sure you can guess the movie :p

Honestly, I don’t watch the Turkish league… why not?

    1. exactly! RLC is scoring against smaller sides and that’s good but we do need creativity in midfield (it lacking to say the least) to give our wingers more scoring opportunities, this could be great

      1. we attack down the wings. wingers create. they dont finish at milan this season.. we lack creativity duo to how pioli wants us to play not because our midfielders are not creative…

why cant people undrestand this? its basic

Furthermore our midfielders were bought for a 433 this season not 4231. Its no wonder they are underperforming in this formation..

  3. Lmao so they want money but when we sell them players these same Turkish teams won’t even cough up 5 million lol. Pass. The league is mediocre. Their league is like the MLS.
