In exactly one month, the AC Milan squad will gather at Milanello to begin preseason preparations under the orders of Massimiliano Allegri.
Allegri was named as the new head coach last week, and reports surfaced suggesting that he wished to bring forward the ‘raduno’ – which is the start of preseason – to maximise the working time available before the season begins.
Milan preseason dates
According to MilanNews, Allegri is indeed eager to get to work immediately and he has brought forward the first actual day of work compared to previous years, which will be Friday 4 July.
The players will carry out the first fitness tests on the Milanello pitches on that day and then three days later, on Monday 7, the actual gathering will begin in view of the season.

Below is the complete program:
July 4-5: First tests at Milanello for the players;
July 6: Arrival in the evening of the players who will take part in the raduno;
July 7: The actual raduno with training in the morning, closed to the fans. Training on the outside pitch will be at 17:00 CEST.
For reference, day one last season under Paulo Fonseca was July 8 but a lot of players were away at the European Championship. Under Stefano Pioli in 2023 it was July 10.
As a reminder, Milan are not in any European competitions in the 2025-26 season, so with one game per week (barring a deep Coppa Italia win) there will be extra time for Allegri to work too.
That’s the biggest American Holiday and with Pulisic not happy as is …. why pick this day?
Pulisic’s mouthpiece has spoken.
Internationals will probably get an extra week anyway.
