AC Milan are targeting Adrien Rabiot on the recommendation of Massimiliano Allegri, but it will not be an easy pursuit.
In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot revealed that he often speaks with Allegri, and who knows if in one of the many chats that have taken place in recent months there hasn’t also been talk of his (possible) return to Serie A.

Allegri wants a reunion
As MilanNews report, during his time at Juventus, the Frenchman was nicknamed ‘Crazy Horse’ by fans on social media, because of his mix of physical power, elegance in running and a certain unpredictability that made Rabiot entertaining to watch.
It is precisely this rebellious and unpredictable nature that fascinates Allegri, who managed to channel his abilities well at Juve. The relationship between the two is very solid, as confirmed by the player himself.
Allegri has often defended and endorsed Rabiot even in those complicated moments in which the fans and critics targeted him. The current Marseille player scored 16 goals and 11 assists in 127 appearances at Juventus.
There is only a problem though: Marseille. The Ligue 1 giants and Roberto De Zerbi have no intention of parting ways with Rabiot, who last season proved to be decisive in securing their return to the Champions League with 10 goals and six assists in 31 appearances (in all competitions).
Considering his age and the expiry of his contract in June 2026, the Frenchman could join Milan for around €10m if not even less, but Marseille are ready to build a real wall to prevent this scenario from happening, also because up until now the player has not shown any desire to leave.
In fact, Sky report that path leading to Rabiot is getting more complicated for Milan. The player has in fact made it known that he wants to stay at Marseille also next season.
Allegri wants Rabiot. Allegri wants Chiez. Allegri wants Vlahovic. Allegri wants Cambiaso. Locatelli still needs to bring him Juventus, with whom he was fourth. I guess we will be sure that we will reach the top four.

Whether we like it or not, Rabiot is a good midfielder. I would even say in the current squad (without Tiji) he would be the best one.
