Tuttosport: ‘Are you sure’ – Milan could utilise Allegri’s relations to bring new idea to life

AC Milan, at present, are considering the future of Alvaro Morata, who is also unsure of his situation. So, perhaps, a beneficial situation could be unveiled.

As things stand, Milan are waiting to hear the will of Morata, who is open to leaving Galatasaray only six months after joining. Returning to Spain is possible. But reports state that a move to Como could be the surprise option.

A friendship with Cesc Fabregas could sway the striker to the move, and it is a move to watch this summer, with his loan looking possible to end.

No problem

The alternative is him returning to Milan and staying, where, as Tuttosport write (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are contemplating spending €30 million on a new striker. At present, the main target is a former disciple of Allegri, Dusan Vlahovic.

However, he could be avoided in favour of another disciple, Morata. Put simply, the club would avoid risking the future of Gimenez, as well as save money on a striker, money which could be invested elsewhere.

Previously, the Italian coach has raved about Morata’s ability to play in a number of different roles, and you would also assume he would be open to rotating. It is an option to be considered, perhaps.

  1. My problem with Allegri is that he only wants to work with players he worked with in the past…
Why he doesn’t want to work with a ‘new’ players?

Even if he combines his past best starting XI, maximum he can get is P2 or P3 in Serie A, nothing more

    1. Modric, xhaka, leoni….never played for him, journalist write these things because there was a past link…morata is still a milan player, milan is cheap so allegri is working with what he has….basically all articles are heresay until the season starts

    1. We have a prolific striker in gimenez already and we got him for nearly 40mil.thats not an amount u get someone to stay on d bench for.since he is here, this sounds like a good idea for rotation purposes and I don’t know why they let jovic go and not give him one more year.we shud rather focus on the midfield and wing backs to provide enough balls for the strikers to score cos if the midfield remains wack,no prolific striker will shine

  2. We can’t find a striker that plays well with his back to goal??? Vlahovic and Morata is the best we can do?

    1. We only have 38 matches next season with some coppa italia matches..it’d a great time to push much confidence in camarda and some few other young ones.blend these with old guys and the youthful experience we have in leao, pulisic and the likes. For me,no need to bring morata which can hinder the progress of camarda in playing time.we already have a prolific striker in giminez whom we spent 40m or so on just this January..for injury purposes,we can probably get an old guy who we call fall on incase of a longterm injury to gimenez or when the heat becomes too much for young camarda to handle..other than that, let’s go into the season with giminez and camarda and with or without another young promising talent who will be rotating in games with camarda.
