El Bernabeu: Asensio wants Milan over Liverpool or Man Utd – €30m offer put forward

By Oliver Fisher -

Marco Asensio considers AC Milan a very welcome destination but a deal must be found with Real Madrid which will not be easy, a report claims.

Spanish source El Bernabeu confirm that Real Madrid are currently not intending to renew Asensio’s contract which expires in June 2023 and so the 26-year-old is ready to evaluate new offers.

The report mentions that the idea of a move to Milan seems the one preferred by the player despite the interest of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. The possibility of being a protagonist with the Rossoneri is of greater appeal to the playmaker, whereas he may have to settle for a bench role in England.

Milan have put forward an offer of €30m but the figure is considered too low by Los Blancos. However, if the Rossoneri were to increase the offer by around €10m – thus approaching the €40m mark – the operation could be concluded positively.

  1. €40m? For someone with a year on his contract? They’re mad. If they won’t sell €20m let him extend his contract and continue with Madrid.

  2. Yesterday’s reports were about 20M
    How it became 40 suddenly?
Milan hasn’t put any deal yet, so it’s all a lie.
I think the initial offer will be 15 + 5 in bonuses and they will take it due to good relationships

  3. Bla bla bla, well yesterday real madrid demanded 20 according to another article on this site and now we offer 30 mil which then is too little and that for a player with an expriring contract in 2023.

As i see it a lot of the milan fans simply should stop reading ac milan news before the first match of the season starts as you will read all news as facts and make this site even more intolerable than usual.
Same people complaining about us not targeting the right transfers based on media speculalation, or saying maldini out, pioli out , elliot out still sits here and bitch about something you know nothing about and then blame the new ownership as well in your frustrations.

Im inclined to say that we should skip this transfer window even if we have 75-100 mil available and build the worlds biggest meat grinder and and throw the legions of moaners into it.

  4. This guy isn’t going to offer us anything going forward. Literally a bench player for Madrid. 18 and 19 year-old getting ahead of him.
