GdS: Aston Villa midfielder gives green light to Milan as they express interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still looking for a central midfielder and they are now pursuing an alternative target to Renato Sanches, according to a report.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri management are looking for Franck Kessie’s replacement and though they have had Sanches as their priority target for months now, there is still strong competition from Paris Saint-Germain which could scupper their plans.

That is why alternative targets are being looked at, and Milan have set their sights on Carney Chukwuemeka of Aston Villa. The paper claims that the player has already received information on the idea of a move to Italy and he gave his approval to the idea of joining the Rossoneri.

Chukwuemeka came through the academy of the Premier League side but with his contract expiring in June 2023, they will be forced into a decision regarding his future should he continue to not sign a renewal.

  1. Just like botman, sanches, CDK, asensio, zaniolo – all of them gave the so called green light.

But where are we now – preparing fans with the news that adli, messias and florenzi have shown so much promise that we dont need anyone

  2. Just rumours. The fact is the window rapidly comes to an end. M&M should have not extend their contracts. They cannot properly operate without cash. Beyond any arguments concerning Redbird strategy, all that has been happening so far is very disappointing for all Milan fans

  3. Oops 🙊 another green light 😂.
I hope we don’t get blinded by the amount of green lights we are seeing 🤣🤣🤣.
