AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah has attracted interest this summer from several clubs, and Atalanta are the latest suitors.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ivan Juric is looking for a physical and versatile midfielder, with Musah ticking those boxes. The American has become ‘the hot idea of the moment’ and a move could be made after tying up deals for Zalewski and Krstović.

A late move for Musah?
If a figure of around €25m were to be offered for Musah – a figure not far from what Napoli were reportedly willing to pay at the start of the transfer window – then Milan would be forced to reflect on things.
More recently, Nottingham Forest made inquiries and spoke with Musah, but never made a concrete bid and so things were left in limbo. The key now is to understand what Milan will decide to do, having made significant changes in midfield.

With Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Youssouf Fofana already in the squad, Musah could risk having very limited playing time. However, Allegri in particular greatly appreciates his professionalism and versatility, and his word could be vital.
Firstly though, before a decision is made either way, Atalanta have to formulate an offer that the management are happy to accept, which has not happened yet.

for our friends at Atalanta?! special price of 35M minimum
if he is out 20M is the rumored fee for Frendrup and Miretti’s 15M… Magassa is also targeted by Roma and he can play as CB as well
Kiwior, Frendrup, Vlahovic/Dovbyk
They all want Musah. He must be so bad as the clowns in this forum mindlessly are regurgitating.
Musah is not a top-club footballer. I will happily die on that hill, even if it’s covered in flowers that squirt water.
He’s trash, open your eyes and actually watch a game.
This planet’s most sought after and expensive headless chicken.
Emerson Royal was also wanted by a decent amount of clubs.
So I guess we can conclude that Musah and Royal are around the same level.
Musah has humility and will play anywhere for the coach, including out of position at RB and RW. These clowns assess his performance at the wing and act like that’s his main position. Of course he can improve, maybe you don’t like him as a player, but you can’t hate him as a man. He’s an absolute professional, and coaches value that.
What if Theo and Leao had Musah’s mentality?
For Atalanta a special price , 35-40 millions
Is he versatile, or has he just been trialled – and been vaguely competent, in every position because no one really knows what to do with him?
Spending Musah on 25 million €1 coins would be our signing of the season.
Musah + 20M for Lookman.
The time for business is over. Get the needed striker, and sell off the players Allegri doesn’t want. Season begins on Saturday.
Nobody wants this guy at that money. It’s story after story of different clubs offering 25m and yet nothing happens. It’s just spread by the club to hype him up
If we get 10-15m for him and don’t make a loss on the books thats a great result. Enough of this fantasy football nonsense
It’s funny if Algeri likes him.. also in preseason games he was bad and chaotic… Price around 25m€ + 2-3m€ in bonuses seems good and I hope we sell him. On his position we have now Jimenez and Alexis… he is much better then Musah… if we will play 3-5-2, Musah will be just a bench player.
Next Adli and Bennacer and we are Okey. 10 days until the end of mercato to buy striker and One more Defender
I would LITERALLY pay a team to take Musah from us,
To put it kindly, he’s nowhere near Milan level – and Milan level isn’t even CL level yet.
Sell Musah ASAP.
I agree 100%. I’d also pay a club to take the hot potato off our hands. However it does seem like the latest news is that Milan has rejected Atalanta’s offer and that’s unfortunate.
Reading the comments here it’s to tell that many ain’t in favour of him….as for me his one of my favourite players in Milan and his versatility is key and work rate is not bad either.
Milan must keep him at all cost that’s my wish.
no formal inquiries was made, it’s always rumours to overhype the kid.. he just a youngster, the best youngster they have from the same country of the club owner, so no surprise..
unfortunately their best is not good enough for Milan, it’s happen w/ CDK & Dani Malda too
This is getting more comical by the day. Multiple top teams are after him, offering up to 35M for him, he’s even won over Allegri. And now Atalanta has joined the chase and people in here think the clubs after him are the fools! hilarious, just hilarious.
