There has been plenty of talk about the manager and sporting director situations. Indeed, it appears that the club is pretty split about who arrives, which helps no one. Yet, there is no solution being found just yet.
It appears that the divide is only growing, with Ibrahimovic not involved in an extensive interview with Oliver Glasner earlier this week.
If it were up to him, the Austrian may not arrive.
Ibrahimovic’s idea
This morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport looked a little further at the Swede’s view point, suggesting that he would more willingly accept a combination of Mauricio Pochettino and Ramon planes. However, this may be supported by his talks with agent Rafaela Pimenta.
The other suggested motive would be that the responsibilities would be split across several people, above all ‘avoiding centralisation’ and leaving him with a ‘heavy say’ still.
For someone who has claimed not to be an employee of the club, it seems strange that he still wants such a large say in the role, especially with his boss not agreeing with his idea…
