GdS: Bakayoko still out of Milan’s plans and can leave in January

French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is still nowhere close to being in Stefano Pioli’s plans at AC Milan and can leave the club in the January transfer window, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Bakayoko was not used once by Pioli during the first part of the season before the World Cup break and there is no reason to suggest that will change when the play resumes.

He is actually still only on loan at Milan and is in the second year of a two-year loan from Chelsea. Milan do not want to keep him and the loan deal could be terminated in January to allow him to find a new club.

It would save Milan some money on wages that can be redirected elsewhere in the squad and they would not need to replace him as he has no active role in the squad at the moment.
