Report: Barcelona may consider sale of €67m winger as Maldini monitors the situation

AC Milan are interested in signing winger Raphinha from Barcelona in the summer, according to a report.

A report on BarcaUniversal recall that Barca securing the signing of Raphinha from Leeds United in a deal worth €58m fixed plus €9m in add-ons and beat competition from Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham in the UK, but he has just two goals and two assists in 15 LaLiga games this season so far.

They then cite Italian publication Calciomercato (via SPORT) in stating that Milan are big admirers of Raphinha and might just try their hand at signing the Brazilian this summer, with Paolo Maldini in particular leading the pursuit.

The former Leeds man has been asked to play on the left given Xavi has preferred Ousmane Dembele on the right, but the Rossoneri could offer him the role he prefers as they look to bolster the right wing.

Barca’s economic situation means that they could well end up listening to offers for players like Raphinha, so it could be a case of watch this space.
