AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has vowed to come back stronger after he underwent an operation to repair a tear in his calf muscle.
A statement on the official website earlier today that Ismaël Bennacer underwent surgery in Finland this morning. The operation on his right calf was performed by Dr Lasse Lempainen and his recovery period is estimated to be four months.
In a post on his Instagram profile, Bennacer shared a message from his hospital bed after the operation took place.
“Hey there everyone. My calf surgery this morning went well. Thank you all for your messages and support that motivate me to come back as soon as possible. I will give everything to come back stronger. See you soon on the field.”

As a human, fellow African and brother, I wish you the quickest recovery and hope you come back stronger 💪.
But as a Milan fan, pls pack your load and leave this club alone. Just go and cash out in the Saudi League.
Try to come back lighter. Maybe that way your body won’t get injured because of the extra pounds it is carrying around.
