AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has laid out his demands regarding the renewal of his contract amid interest from Liverpool, a report claims.
According to reports from Claudio Raimondi on SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have been working for some time on the renewal of Bennacer, whose contract is currently due to expire in June 2024 which means next summer he will be a year from his deal running out.
The Algerian currently earns around €1.7m net per season and the first proposal from the Rossoneri worth €3m per year was rejected. The request from Bennacer and his entourage is €4m net per season.
There is a reason for that demand too: it is the same amount that Liverpool would be willing to offer him, with the Premier League side having had their sights on the former Empoli star for some time as they look for reliable reinforcements for the midfield.
