Bennacer shuts down €30m PSG rumours: “I want to win everything with Milan”

AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has insisted he wants to ‘win everything’ with the Rossoneri despite recent links with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Algeria international arrived from Empoli last summer and has been one of the few brights spots of a difficult season for Milan, nailing down a spot in the starting XI as the club’s best holding midfield options.

Le10Sport recently claimed that PSG sporting director Leonardo – a man who has held the same position at Milan – wants to raid his former side for Bennacer, with a budget of €30m ready to get the deal done.

However, the 22-year-old have given an interview to the club”s social media channels hinting he is not looking to leave Milan any time soon.

“If I think of the history of this great club and I pull on that jersey, I just want to fight hard and give my all. I want to win everything with Milan,” Bennacer said (via MilanNews).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived in January and appeared to lift the whole mentality of the group, and Bennacer explained the impact that the 38-year-old Swede has had.

“Zlatan is that kind of player who always helps you to give your best, because he wants perfection and you have to seek it if you want to be the best. You can’t make a mistake with Zlatan around, and that’s fine with me, as it encourages me to keep getting better.

“He sits next to me in the dressing room, so if I don’t do well in a training session, he makes fun of me. He wants to be at a high level until he retires and his career has been simply fantastic.”
