AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has insisted that he and his team-mates have worked hard to correct their mistakes from the Roma game.
The Rossoneri will be looking to avoid any scares on Halloween night as they host relegation battlers SPAL at San Siro, a team that have not obtained a point or scored a goal on their travels so far this season.
Stefano Pioli’s side come into the game having lost five of their first nine games of the season and languishing in 13th place in the table, with the most recent disappointment being an error-ridden 2-1 defeat against Roma on Sunday.
Speaking to Milan TV before the crucial game against SPAL though, Bennacer has insisted that the hunger is there to get back on track.
“After Roma we worked on what we didn’t do well at the Olimpico and now we’re focused on doing the best we can against SPAL,” the Algerian said (via MilanNews.it).
“We have to be hungrier than the other teams. We have to do well together tonight. We have to get a result.”
