Bild: Milan can only watch on as Real Madrid conjure up €60m plan for former striker

Former AC Milan star Andre Silva has exploded since leaving the club for Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt and may get another big move.

The Portuguese striker has 25 goals this season and is behind only Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski in the scoring charts. The 26-year-old joined Milan from Porto back in 2017 but didn’t hit the ground running and – after an unsuccessful loan spell at Sevilla – he ended up at Eintracht Frankfurt as part of an exchange deal with Ante Rebic.

Calciomercato.com recently reported how it was an agreement that yielded an economic capital gain and everyone agreed to giving the green light for the exchange to take place. Some Milan fans have voiced their disappointment that a striker with such stats was allowed to go, but there is no regret and it was the right call.

According to German newspaper Bild (via Calciomercato.com), Silva is looking like an option for some top European clubs given the difficulties in signing Erling Haaland. Real Madrid are now the team on pole as they could pay €40m for Silva sending Luka Jovic the other way permanently for €20m, so a €60m deal for Silva.
