During the presentation of new signings at Boca Juniors, the Argentinian club’s president, Daniel Angelici, also spoke about their interest in Gustavo Gómez.
“We hope to close the negotiations with Milan for Gustavo Gomez between today and tomorrow,” said Daniel Angelici.
However, negotiations remain tough as Milan only want to sell the defender, while Boca wants to loan with an option to buy, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The negotiations could, however, enter an advanced stage as Milan are interested in Boca Junior’s midfielder, Gonzalo Maroni, born in 1999. The youngster’s inclusion in the deal could unlock the standstill in the negotiations.
