The postponement of Bologna-Milan was made official by the Mayor of the city this evening, but the clubs and Lega Serie A are pushing to play.

According to MilanNews, the ordinance signed in the afternoon (the document required to formally postpone a game) is still the subject of discussions between all the parties involved despite the announcement that came in the past couple of hours.

In fact, both clubs would be inclined to play the game as well as Lega Serie A, which have not yet prepared its official statement for the postponement of the match that would be scheduled for Saturday at 18:00 CEST.

These are hectic moments, in which discussion are ongoing to find a solution that can suit everyone (TV broadcasters included) also because the calendar of the two teams is full until February. The risk is that the match – in case of confirmation of the postponement – could be rescheduled for late March.

Players and the managements of the two clubs are waiting, like everyone else, for a definitive communication so much so that tomorrow’s Milanello program has not been changed.

However, the cancellation of Paulo Fonseca’s press conference has been confirmed due to the state of uncertainty on the status of the match.
