AC Milan have been lined with a new name ahead of the summer today in Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui, according to a report.
According to what is being reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the transfer window maybe closed but Milan are working on potential moves for next season. They are targeting the signing of a new centre-back, with ‘concrete steps’ taken to sign Lille’s Botman.
However, the rossoneri are also considering signing Noussair Mazraoui whose contract with Ajax expires in June, meaning he can be picked up on a Bosman deal (free transfer) for next season. He has picked up 5 goals and 2 assists in the league this campaign with Ajax topping the Eredivisie again.
Mazraoui is a Morocco international who can play right-back, right wing-back or even central midfield if needed. Barcelona held talks with his agent Mino Raiola but cooled off, and now Borussia Dortmund are showing interest while Milan ‘are evaluating signing him’.
