CM: Forward nets first goal for Chelsea – Milan continue to monitor his situation

AC Milan are in pursuit of a new centre-forward ahead of next summer, and one of their transfer targets scored at the weekend.

Several sources have reported that Milan are ready to make an investment on a new centre-forward next summer and names continue to emerge as potential targets. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will likely retire at the end of the current campaign meaning a new striker is needed to complete a department consisting of a 36-year-old Olivier Giroud (expected to renew) and Divock Origi.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, one of the profiles that is being monitored by the Milan management as a potential option worth pursuing is Armando Broja of Chelsea, who continues to be limited to appearances off the bench.

He was wanted by Inter in the summer but ended up staying to fight for a spot under Thomas Tuchel and then Graham Potter, and he scored his first senior goal for the Blues during the home win over Wolves at the weekend.
