AC Milan and Everton are both interested in a move for Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic, according to one journalist.
It is no secret that the Rossoneri are in the market for a new centre-back this summer with doubts over the future of Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte, the latter of whom could leave on loan.
At the moment the player who is strongest linked with a move to Milan is Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, a player Stefano Pioli worked with during his time as head coach of La Viola, though it seems his compatriot is also attracting interest.
According to what Ciro Venerato has told CalcioNapoli24, Milan are one of four clubs who are interested in Nikola Maksimovic, a 28-year-old defender who made 22 league appearances for Napoli last season.
He is apparently valued at €15m by the Neapolitans, but there is also interest from Everton, Roma and Fiorentina to compete with.
