New AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale will meet the squad at Milanello tomorrow after the derby victory tonight at San Siro.
A statement on the club’s official website earlier this week confirmed that RedBird are the new owners of the club, completing the takeover from fellow American fund Elliott Management.
According to what we have learned, after attending his first match tonight and seeing his first victory as Milan owner, tomorrow Gerry Cardinale will be in the Milanello Sports Centre to meet Stefano Pioli and the whole Rossoneri team.
He will of course be there to congratulate the team in the aftermath of the Rossoneri’s wonderful victory in the derby against Inter tonight.
There will be a number of issues for Cardinale to tackle now he is at the helm, including the renewal of Rafael Leao who was certainly a very strong candidate for man of the match after his brace against the Nerazzurri.
Cardinale pretty much gonna greenlight 7 million for Leao.
But the demand is 7.5m
7.5m should also be greenlit IMO. maybe that extra 500k in bonuses or something. A player who can win us games like this.. deserves it for sure. But mendez, the Fvcking snake is gonna change the demand to 10 mil if we offer 7.5. That’s the worst part.
Dude is not a 7m player yet, 6m or 6.5
If he win the lawsuit against Sporting CP, he might accept 6 or 6.5. Or maybe Cardinale should help him to get commercial deal to help him pay the fine.
