CM: Winger almost certain to be sold by Milan this summer with four clubs interested

By Oliver Fisher -

Samu Castillejo is likely to be experiencing his last few months as an AC Milan player with a summer exit almost certain, according to a report.

Pioli has made it evident that he does not consider Castillejo to be a resource worth using so far in 2022 as the Spaniard has simply not featured much at all. Despite the fluctuating performances of Messias and Saelemaekers, Castillejo cannot find any playing time and in January he was strongly linked with an exit that never materialised.

A return to Spain seemed the most viable track and in the final few hours of the mercato it was Sampdoria who tried to sign him, but he decided to decline because he was not convinced of reuniting with Marco Giampaolo.

According to Calciomercato.com, Castillejo will leave Milan in the summer and there are three Spanish sides who are interested in him: Real Betis, Getafe and Real Sociedad. In Italy, Sampdoria are still keen.
