AC Milan clinched their first Scudetto in eleven years this past season and thus cemented their spot at the top of Italian football, back after many tough years. And their success was somewhat reflected in the TV revenue.

It’s widely known that few leagues can compete with the TV rights revenue of the Premier League, and that was indeed the case this past season. As per Calcio e Finanza, Milan collected just under €78m from the TV rights.
Meanwhile, Man City (who won the Premier League) collected a whopping €187m, which says a lot about the massive difference. Milan didn’t even collect the most in Serie A, but that was to be expected given recent years.
The revenue is calculated by several factors, as the report highlights, such as final position, historical results and the last five seasons. Juventus managed to beat the Rossoneri by €100k, also collecting just under €78m.
Inter ended up in first place with €84m collected. It should also be noted that there’s quite a significant drop from the top three teams to the fourth-placed one, which was Napoli (€68m).
